OpenBook

OpenBook is an industry-led organization that provides researching service, develops standards, education to serve the Chinese book industry. OpenBook is the biggest data collector of Chinese book globally. The most authoritative book sale ranking is based on OpenBook in China. Established in 1998, OpenBook has covered more than 2,000 book retailers in 2013. ^[1]

Current services

All print book sales in Chinese trade market are tracked and aggregated in OpenBook, which is accessible to associated publishers and booksellers in China. The system collects transaction data, and provides publishers customized services, which are currently free.
